At Werner Engineering, we are always committed to making Christmas brighter for families and children in need by running a donation drive to support a local charity or organisation. This year we have proudly partnered with the Mackay Neighbourhood Hub to extend a helping hand to those facing difficult times.

The Mackay Neighbourhood Hub, established in 1989, is a cornerstone of community support in the Mackay region. They provide a wide range of services, including family support, early childhood engagement, crisis assistance and financial counselling plus programs for multicultural communities and newly arrived migrants. This Christmas, the Neighbourhood Hub is hosting a special event to distribute donations to struggling families, bringing joy, lightness and celebration into their lives.

For our donation drive, Werner Engineering invited employees, customers and suppliers to contribute non-perishable food, children’s toys, toiletries and other essential items. These donations will go directly to families in need, providing not only practical support but also the magic of Christmas during challenging times.

We are immensely grateful to everyone who participated and contributed to this meaningful cause. Together we are helping to create a stronger and more connected community where everyone has the opportunity to experience the joy of this holiday and festive season.
